The doors are officially open for musicians and venues to register accounts at the Akron Music Hub, and just in time for Christmas!
It's been a long road from "wouldn't it be nice if..." to actually having a fully functional website. The last bit of code has been written (for now), and everything is up and running for all the music lovers of Akron to enjoy!

The directory of local venues is now available for viewing. Click on "Venues" in the menu bar to view a listing of all local venues who have registered a page with the Akron Music Hub. The directory lists the venue's address and a Google Maps link in the directory listing for convenience. For further details, including website and Myspace page address, contact numbers, and a list of upcoming events at a specific venue, click on the link at the bottom of each venue's listing.
Remember venues, you don't have to be located in Akron to register for the Akron music hub. Venues from Kent, Canton, and other surrounding areas are welcome and encouraged to register!

The directory of musicians is now available for viewing. Click on "Musicians" in the menu bar to view an alphabetical list of all the groups and artists who have registered a page with the Akron Music Hub. Simply click on their name and you can view info about the group, including their website and Myspace addresses, upcoming and previous performances, as well as listen to their music via their ReverbNation widget.
For the musicians out there, don't forget to register your group so the music fans of Akron can learn about you and know when and where you're playing next!
